This toilet raising block is made from polyurethane, injected foam and sanitised PVC, is hygienic and protects again bacteria. It raises the seat of the toilet by 4.5" and weighs 2 Kgs. It cansupport a user weight of up to 19 stone.

This toilet seat is safe and fits snugly and securely on most toilet bowls without tools or clamps. It is ideal for people who have trouble sitting down and getting up from a standard toiet, and the softness of the seat allows them to stay sitting comfortabley for longer periods. It can be cleaned easily with soapy water or a mild household cleaner and can be sprayed with disinfectant if necessary

What is Vat Exemption?

What is Vat Exemption
Most of our customers are exempt from VAT by virtue of their chronic disability. However, certain products are not eligible for Vat relief , so a description of the VAT status is given along with the price of all items within the shop . If you qualify for VAT exemption then you will need to complete the self-decleration of exemption on this site , just prior to completing the checkout process . The checkout stage will give an indication as to the amount of VAT that is being collected on behalf of the Revenue by us !

You are exempt from paying VAT on the items as relevant if :

Individuals : If you are chronically sick or disabled and the products are for your personal use. You do not need a Doctors letter or other such documentation. Full details can be found at

Charities : Where the goods are made available by the charity to a disabled person for their personal or domestic use. Full details can be found at
HM Customs and Excise, Notice 701/7, Supplies to charities.

Buying for someone else : If you are buying this product for or on behalf of someone who is chronically sick or disabled and the product(s) is for their personal use.

Non-eligible customers : If you are not eligible for VAT relief, we are obliged to charge you the full 17.5% VAT on the whole of your order.
