The fold is along the length of this briefcase ramp. The ramps all are designed to meet the requirememnts of the DDA. Smooth moulded side upstands, colour contrastng slip-resist surface make these easy and safe to use. GRP is used for maintenance fre use and each ramp has a distributed carrying capacity of 240 Kgs, 40 stone.

Ramps can be manufactured to order, please telephone with your requirements.

4'6" ramp:

Internal width 29" (736 mm), overall width 33" (840 mm). Weight 11 Kg. Smooth corners prevent damage to upholstery when sliding in and out of vehicles.

What is Vat Exemption?

What is Vat Exemption
Most of our customers are exempt from VAT by virtue of their chronic disability. However, certain products are not eligible for Vat relief , so a description of the VAT status is given along with the price of all items within the shop . If you qualify for VAT exemption then you will need to complete the self-decleration of exemption on this site , just prior to completing the checkout process . The checkout stage will give an indication as to the amount of VAT that is being collected on behalf of the Revenue by us !

You are exempt from paying VAT on the items as relevant if :

Individuals : If you are chronically sick or disabled and the products are for your personal use. You do not need a Doctors letter or other such documentation. Full details can be found at

Charities : Where the goods are made available by the charity to a disabled person for their personal or domestic use. Full details can be found at

Buying for someone else : If you are buying this product for or on behalf of someone who is chronically sick or disabled and the product(s) is for their personal use.

Non-eligible customers : If you are not eligible for VAT relief, we are obliged to charge you the full 17.5% VAT on the whole of your order.
