This is a truly universal transfer board. the unique curved shape and max. working load of 45 stone enable it to be used for virtually anyone. Ideal for use in both assisted and non-assisted transfers, it is also ideal for face to face transfers within confined areas.

The inset anti-slip pads on the underside prevent pad detachment and afford maximum grip on the two surfaces. it is lightweight and Can easily be transported via the built in handles, or with the aid of the optional carry strap (see following items). Easily wiped clean, using either household disinfectants or alcohol based solutions

What is Vat Exemption?

What is Vat Exemption
Most of our customers are exempt from VAT by virtue of their chronic disability. However, certain products are not eligible for Vat relief , so a description of the VAT status is given along with the price of all items within the shop . If you qualify for VAT exemption then you will need to complete the self-decleration of exemption on this site , just prior to completing the checkout process . The checkout stage will give an indication as to the amount of VAT that is being collected on behalf of the Revenue by us !

You are exempt from paying VAT on the items as relevant if :

Individuals : If you are chronically sick or disabled and the products are for your personal use. You do not need a Doctors letter or other such documentation. Full details can be found at

Charities : Where the goods are made available by the charity to a disabled person for their personal or domestic use. Full details can be found at
HM Customs and Excise, Notice 701/7, Supplies to charities.

Buying for someone else : If you are buying this product for or on behalf of someone who is chronically sick or disabled and the product(s) is for their personal use.

Non-eligible customers : If you are not eligible for VAT relief, we are obliged to charge you the full 17.5% VAT on the whole of your order.
