This translucent transfer board,760 mm x 32 cm (30 x 12.5") provides for a quick visual check of transfer edge surfaces. Bridge the gap between two transfer surfaces with this board - ideal for transfers between a wheelchair and a bed, toilet, chair or car seat, it provides a smooth upper surface and a secure high friction lower surface. it is made of clear flexible plastic that can be bent against the wheel of the chair, enabling the patient to slide over a protruding wheel or brake lever.

Accommodates surface height differences of up to 4"

What is Vat Exemption?

What is Vat Exemption
Most of our customers are exempt from VAT by virtue of their chronic disability. However, certain products are not eligible for Vat relief , so a description of the VAT status is given along with the price of all items within the shop . If you qualify for VAT exemption then you will need to complete the self-decleration of exemption on this site , just prior to completing the checkout process . The checkout stage will give an indication as to the amount of VAT that is being collected on behalf of the Revenue by us !

You are exempt from paying VAT on the items as relevant if :

Individuals : If you are chronically sick or disabled and the products are for your personal use. You do not need a Doctors letter or other such documentation. Full details can be found at
HM Customs and Excise, Notice 701/7, Supplies to handicapped people.

Charities : Where the goods are made available by the charity to a disabled person for their personal or domestic use. Full details can be found at
HM Customs and Excise, Notice 701/7, Supplies to charities.

Buying for someone else : If you are buying this product for or on behalf of someone who is chronically sick or disabled and the product(s) is for their personal use.

Non-eligible customers : If you are not eligible for VAT relief, we are obliged to charge you the full 17.5% VAT on the whole of your order.
