Used in conjunction with the Voice Alert Monitor (sold separately), these Voice Alert Sensor Mats with wipe clean surface, activate the Voice Alert Alarm when an increase or decrease in pressure on the sensor mats occurs.

Available in three sizes: Large Sensor Mat (shown here) can be used on the bed, floor or stairs, Medium Sensor Mat is idea for use on chairs or wheelchairs, Small Square Sensor Mat is designed for wheelchairs, alerting carers if the user falls or strays.

A Toilet Seat Sensor is also available.

All Sensor Mats are designed to work with users weighing 27kg (4st 3lb) and above.

Voice Alert Large Sensor Mat

Can be used on top of the bed (placed under the bed sheet) as a bed occupancy sensor (pressure off alarm) or the monitor settings can be changed to use as a floor sensor (pressure on alarm).

What is Vat Exemption?

What is Vat Exemption
Most of our customers are exempt from VAT by virtue of their chronic disability. However, certain products are not eligible for Vat relief , so a description of the VAT status is given along with the price of all items within the shop . If you qualify for VAT exemption then you will need to complete the self-decleration of exemption on this site , just prior to completing the checkout process . The checkout stage will give an indication as to the amount of VAT that is being collected on behalf of the Revenue by us !

You are exempt from paying VAT on the items as relevant if :

Individuals : If you are chronically sick or disabled and the products are for your personal use. You do not need a Doctors letter or other such documentation. Full details can be found at

Charities : Where the goods are made available by the charity to a disabled person for their personal or domestic use. Full details can be found at

Buying for someone else : If you are buying this product for or on behalf of someone who is chronically sick or disabled and the product(s) is for their personal use.

Non-eligible customers : If you are not eligible for VAT relief, we are obliged to charge you the full 17.5% VAT on the whole of your order.
