Alzheimers Eye Test?

BBC News reported on Thursday that UK scientists have developed a technique for detecting early signs of Alzheimers using a simple eye test. The test works by using florescent markers to show up dying cells in the retina which could give an early indication of brain cell death.

The test has so far only been carried out on mice but the scientists, from University College London, are now planning to start human trials.
