Disability Aids - and Presents!

The Disabled Shop provides a comprehensive range of equipment for disabled adults and disabled children, from toys for children to card games for disabled or handicapped adults. Easi-Grip tools for gardening, magnifiers for easier reading, comfort grip pens and pencil grips and talking watches and clocks all make great presents for disabled people.

Disability Accessories

The huge shop includes accessories for scooters and wheelchair accessories, as well as for powerchairs, scooters, walking aids and walking sticks, tri-walkers, four-wheeled walkers or rollators and other mobility equipment and aids. The Household Department in our Disabled Shop includes over bed tables, blanket lift bars, bed rails, bed trays, perching stools and chair seat lifters. You’ll also find indoor rollators, trolleys, reachers and a wide range of grab bars in this household section, along with tweezers, scissors, pill dispensers and pill box reminders. Kitchen utensils include kettle tipper, non slip mats, a one handed electric food grater, tap turner, key turner, peelers and much much more.

Disabled Eating and Drinking Aids

Eating and Drinking aids for the disabled include cutlery, the Good Grips range, the paediatric range, soft handled cutlery and the comfort grip cutlery, with a choice of terry cloth bibs and Vinyl bibs. There is a wide range of plates, scoop dishes, plates, food guards, drinking assistance includes a two handled mug, plastic cup with lid, nose cut out beakers and the doidy cup, as well as the angled Handycup, feeding cup with long spout and the amazing Nosey cup.

Dressing Aids for the Disabled

Disabled Dressing and Comfort are catered for with elastic shoe laces. Slipper, tights aids, Stocking Aid, Shoehorn and Shoe Removers all help handicapped and disabled people to function more easily. Brushes and long handled combs also help, as do heel protectors and hip shields. We also provide posture relief and positioning cover pillows, including the Body Pillow. The Bed Mate, Smart Pillow, neck pillow and the Designer Pillow and Harley Pillow ranges come in various sizes. The Travel Pillow, V Shaped pillow and neck-eze options aid comfort. Pressure relief is covered by the Designer range, the Pressure-Tex cushions and gel/foam wheelchair cushions and fleece wheelchair covers. For the bed there is the Bed Relaxer, the Leg raiser, mattress tilter and side rail wedges and Cot Side Bumpers. Hip Shields reduce the risk of hip fractures in the elderly or disabled . Nodular Ring Cushions aid Post operative trauma and haemorrhoids conditions. Commode ring is smooth for comfort and resilient.
